Taste the South Festival

“Taste the South” Festival is a three-day cultural and entertainment event in Gevgelija that promotes the gastronomic tradition, culture, and entertainment of southern North Macedonia. The festival takes place at the New Market in Gevgelija and offers visitors the opportunity to experience authentic Macedonian specialties, such as ajvar, fig jam, and homemade mastika, prepared according to traditional recipes. In addition to the gastronomic experiences, the festival features a rich cultural, artistic, and educational program, with performances by cultural and artistic societies, folk ensembles, music schools, dance groups, and festivals for all ages. Evening concerts and performances by Macedonian ethno, pop, and rock artists form the centerpiece of the entertainment, creating a unique atmosphere for visitors of all generations.
