Potato Festival

Potato Festival is a traditional event held in the village of Gorno Jabolchishte, organized by the Municipality of Chashka and the local school OU “Lirija”. The festival celebrates local agricultural production and offers visitors the opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the village and purchase fresh products such as potatoes, sheep cheese, apples, and quinces directly from local producers. The event is part of the municipality’s strategy for local economic development and promotion, supporting local farmers and preserving the cultural heritage of the region.
