Autumn Ascent of Solunska Glava

The Autumn Ascent of Solunska Glava is a traditional mountaineering event with an international character, gathering enthusiasts from Macedonia and neighboring countries. The event offers a challenging and scenic route, 26 km long, with an elevation gain of 1,440 m, rated as moderately difficult to difficult. The ascent begins at Oreshki Monastery “St. George” and leads to the peak of Solunska Glava (2,540 m), the highest peak of the Jakupica mountain.
